Terms of Service

Last updated: April 19, 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PAR (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use PAR. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@get-on-par.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may not transfer your account to another person without our prior written consent. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. The service

PAR is a personal productivity application that provides unified calendar management, task tracking, family coordination tools, and optional integrations with third-party services including Google Calendar, Gmail, Apple Calendar, Microsoft 365 / Outlook, Zoom, and Slack.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

5. Third-party integrations

PAR connects to third-party services on your behalf when you authorize such connections. By connecting a third-party service, you:

  • Grant PAR permission to access and interact with that service on your behalf, as described during the authorization flow.
  • Agree that your use of those third-party services remains subject to their own terms of service and privacy policies.
  • Acknowledge that PAR is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.

You can revoke any third-party integration at any time from the Settings panel. Revocation does not delete data already synced unless you also delete your account.

6. Your content and data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into PAR, including calendar events, contacts, child profiles, and notes ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display Your Content solely as necessary to provide the Service to you.

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of Your Content. You represent that you have all necessary rights to the content you upload or connect to the Service.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Infringe the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Upload or transmit malware, spam, or other harmful content.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our systems.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract source code from the Service.
  • Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation.
  • Harvest or scrape data from the Service without our written consent.

8. Share links and caregiver access

PAR allows you to generate time-limited links that grant third parties read-only access to specific data (such as child profiles or event invitations). You are solely responsible for the links you generate and the data you choose to share.

We are not responsible for how recipients use or disclose information accessed through share links you generate. Revoke any share link immediately if you believe it has been compromised.

9. Intellectual property

PAR and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. Our name, logo, and the "PAR" mark may not be used without our prior written permission.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include the right to sublicense, modify, or create derivative works.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it carefully. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Calendar sync, email scanning, and third-party integrations depend on external APIs that may change or become unavailable without notice.

PAR is a productivity tool, not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or emergency services. Do not rely solely on PAR for emergency contact information or time-critical medical data.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100).

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PAR and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings panel.

Upon termination, your license to use the Service immediately ceases. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 9, 11, 12, 13, 15, and 17) will survive.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in the State of South Carolina under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

16. Billing and subscriptions

Free trial. New accounts may be eligible for a 14-day free trial of a paid plan. No payment is required to start a trial. Your payment method will be charged at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before it expires. We will notify you by email before the trial ends.

Paid plans. PAR offers subscription plans (Plus, Family, Pro, Business) billed monthly or annually. Prices are displayed at the time of purchase and on our pricing page. All prices are in US dollars and exclusive of applicable taxes. We use Stripe to process payments; by subscribing, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) unless cancelled. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file for each renewal. You can view, change, or cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal in your account settings.

Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period — you retain access to paid features until then. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law.

Refunds. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days at hello@get-on-par.app and we will review your request.

Price changes. We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes take effect at the start of your next renewal period after the notice period. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

Taxes. You are responsible for any applicable sales tax, VAT, GST, or similar taxes on your subscription. Where required by law, we will collect and remit these taxes on your behalf and they will appear on your invoice.

17. Child accounts and parental responsibility

Who may create child accounts. Child accounts may only be created by the child's parent or legal guardian using a Family, Pro, or Business plan. Children aged 10–17 may use PAR through a child account. Children may not self-register. By creating a child account, you represent that you are the child's parent or legal guardian and that you consent to the child's use of the Service on the terms described here and in our Privacy Policy.

Parental responsibility. As the parent or guardian, you are the account owner and data controller for any child account you create. You are solely responsible for: supervising the child's use of the Service; ensuring the child's use is appropriate; keeping the child's PIN secure; and managing, modifying, or removing the child account as needed. Any action taken through the child's account is your responsibility.

Data ownership. Personal data entered for a child account — including the child's name, date of birth, and calendar data — is owned by you, the parent or guardian. You may review, correct, or delete this data at any time by contacting us at hello@get-on-par.app or by removing the child account from your Family settings, which triggers deletion of the child's personal data within 30 days.

Subscription dependency. Child accounts exist within and depend on the parent's Family (or higher) subscription. If the parent's subscription is cancelled, downgraded below Family tier, or terminated, child accounts associated with that subscription will be deactivated. We will provide reasonable notice before deactivation where possible.

Age 18 transition. When a child reaches age 18, their account does not automatically change. The parent remains in control of the account until an explicit migration is requested. To migrate a child account to an independent adult account, contact us at hello@get-on-par.app. During migration the child's data and history transfer to the new independent account and the family plan seat is freed.

No advertising to children. We do not serve advertising to child accounts and do not use children's data for any commercial purpose beyond operating the Service.
